Bomonti has signed a very beautiful festival these days, when our Republic has completed its 100th anniversary. The Happy Street Festival, which was organized by Hallucination Coffee and organized for the second time this year, is the 100th anniversary of the Republic. it marked the year and creativity. The heroes of creativity were Mutlu Germ, ONKODAY, Connect Project and artist Akbar Sürsal.

The first Mutlu Street Festival, organized last year, took place on the street where Hallucination Coffee is located in the Bomonti District of Sisli, with the support of the Municipality of Sisli. Organized by the venue operator Halis Fırat, who is also an artist, the festival put its signature on colorful works created with the unifying power of art. Within the scope of the festival, women and students opened stands, exhibited their works and made sales. A certain amount of each product sold was donated to some associations. Mutlu Street Festival made unity question our past, present and future while giving a message of strength and goodness, and along with all this, it also benefited social responsibility.

A 10-METER COLLAGE MADE TOGETHER

Connect, Onkoday, Mutlu Germ and Artist Akbar Sürsal, who argues that coming together, producing together, is the healing power of art, played an important role in the implementation of the Mutlu Street Festival. The team, which also signed its signature colorful works last year, carried out a study with the contributions of everyone participating in the festival on the denim fabric they prepared with a length of 10 meters. The installation and collage designed together with the participating artists from other cities and everyone who visited the festival made the festival even more meaningful.

THIS YEAR'S MESSAGE: ‘WE RISE TOGETHER’ AND "TAKE YOUR PLACE IN ETERNITY"

This work was expressed as a collage taken from hand to hand for collective consciousness, social awareness, artistic expression design. Embracing every word, every voice, every difference, believing in the importance of being inclusive and sustainable, the creative team gives life to its projects for this purpose.

The entire collage work, which reveals the importance of creating new and common perspectives, came to life with recycled materials. Artist Akbar Sürsal expressed that they are trying to be a hope for the next generation, inspire, communicate with them, bring people with different stories together through the messages related to the installation and collage work they have Deciphered.

Connect, who believes that every good deed is the basis of happiness, commented that the purpose of this entire work, a sustainable design and art project, was for everyone who contributed to the project to be inspired by the unifying power of design and art, to support love, hope and sharing.

A part of the income from each product sold at the opened stands was donated to ONKODAY (Uludağ Oncology Solidarity Association).

The special 100th anniversary installation prepared with live Atatürk Flowers on the facade of the venue also attracted great attention at the festival.
