The fact that an existence is outside of time, that it cannot(a)share in change, is that its existence is absolute. To be ”timeless" is to be free from process and history, and therefore to be divine. In this way, it is an act of the one who is god and an obligation that he has to fulfill. To investigate existence outside of time is to investigate the gods in a sense.
